What is the difference between the Bronze and Platinum modular dog kennels?

Our Bronze Series dog kennels are designed for medium and smaller dogs, although properly trained larger dogs can also be housed in this product. It is manufactured using 11-1/2 gauge welded mesh, which is then welded to a ¾" 20-gauge frame. Each panel is 3' x 4' and is powder-coated black. These panels can be set up in many different configurations (either 3' or 4' high).

Our Platinum Series is a commercial-grade dog kennel, with 3/16" solid steel bars (6-gauge). These bars are welded so that the openings are 2"x2" on the bottom third of the panels, 2"x4" in the middle third and 2"x6" on the top third. Each panel is 5' wide x 6' high and has a 1-1/4 square frame for strength and rigidity. This is our heaviest and strongest kennel. Completely powder-coated for weather-resistance.

What size dog kennel do you recommend?

The size of a dog kennel for your pet depends on the size and activity level, as well as the amount of time that will be spent daily in the kennel. Larger dogs (50 lbs. or more) need more room for exercise, while medium or smaller dogs do not. If you have an active pet, build a dog kennel that allows for maximum activity and comfort, as it will make for a happier pet. With our modular design it is easy to increase the size of the kennel simply by adding the number of panels you need.

What sizes are available?

Traditional dog kennel sizes are usually 10'L x 10'W. With the modular dog kennels panels from Options Plus, you can build any size and configuration that fits your pet's needs, just by adding additional panels. We have included different configuration suggestions, but don't be hesitant to design your own!

How are the dog kennels shipped and how will I pick them up?

Freight is included in our pricing. Dog Kennels and panels are packaged (see pictures of shipping pallet or box under Shipping Info) and shipped to the nearest freight terminal or commercial business (we'll let you know which freight carrier and ship date). The reason for this is that most freight companies charge an additional fee for residential delivery. We can send the products to your residence; just let us know when ordering (a $50 delivery fee will apply). On the Ultra, Diamond and Platinum Series dog kennels, each panel is 5' wide, and a vehicle such as a pickup truck is recommended for transporting. The Bronze Series can be shipped by UPS or Airborne ground service, so the $50 home delivery charge does not apply. You can also pickup at our factory location in Fredericktown, Ohio.

How long does it take to receive a dog kennel after it is ordered?

We ship within 5-7 business days, and freight companies usually deliver within 3-7 business days.

What is the quality of your kennel covers?

Kennel covers are made to protect your pet from rain and sun. While our commercial grade covers are very strong, they are not designed to withstand heavy snow loads or high winds. We recommend that every kennel be staked down for safety, especially when using kennel covers (to protect against heavy winds lifting kennels). If snow load or high winds are a concern in your area, we suggest to purchase our hard roof kennel system.

Will your kennel cover kits and hard roofing fit other manufacturer's dog kennels?

Yes, our standard dog kennel covers are designed to fit most 10' x 10' kennels with standard frame size and we can also custom design a kennel cover for many other configurations. Let us know your needs and we'll let you know what we can do.

What accessories do you have to secure the Dog Kennel?

Our accessory stake kit comes with four 12" stakes that fit over the bottom railing and into the ground. We also have wall and concrete anchors.

What is your warranty?

Options Plus warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase (Proof of Purchase Required). The sole obligation of Options Plus, at it's discretion, shall be to repair or replace any products found to be defective. Options Plus is not responsible for injury, loss, property damage or other indirect, special or consequential damages arising from misuse of this product, adverse weather or other acts of God.

Are the dog kennels easy to assemble?

Yes. Panels are factory pre-assembled. Each panel is connected to the next with panel brackets that fit around the tubing and tighten with one bolt and nut. There are two per panel. The gate panel latch attaches with bolts/nuts. Approximate assembly time for a full 10' x 10' kennel is 20-30 minutes. Assembly instructions are posted on our web site.
